About the sitePrivacy
Privacy
Named Peril sets no cookies and runs no analytics, ad or tracking scripts. The single record it keeps is a server-side log of clicks on the app buttons, set out field by field below.
What the site does not collect
- Accounts
- There are none. Nothing on the site asks for a name, an email address or a password.
- Quiz answers
- Answers, tallies and mock scores live in the open page and are gone when you reload or close it. They are not sent anywhere.
- Study plan dates
- The exam-date form on the study plan is worked out in your browser and submits nothing.
- Third-party code
- No analytics, ad networks or social widgets. The fonts are served from this domain.
What the app button logs
The pages of this site set no cookies and load no analytics, ad or tracking scripts. The one log is server-side: the "Get the app" buttons point at go.property-and-casualty-license.com, a redirect run for this site on Cloudflare. When you click one, that redirect sends you on to the App Store (or to a page with the App Store badge on a desktop) and, after redirecting you, its server records the click with the fields below and the time it happened. Nothing is stored in your browser, and the App Store link does not carry the page address.
- Which button
- The app button on this site, or the App Store badge on the go. landing page, plus the device type (iPhone, Android, desktop) read from the browser's user-agent string.
- Where it sent you
- The target of the redirect: the App Store link for your device, or the landing page with the App Store badge (desktop and other devices).
- Which page
- The page the click came from: the address carried in the button's link, or else the Referer header when it points at this site. Also the button's place on the page (top bar, side box, bottom band).
- Network
- Your IP address, and the network (AS number and AS organization) Cloudflare matches it to.
- Rough location
- Country, region, city and time zone as Cloudflare estimates them from the IP address, and the Cloudflare data center that handled the request.
- Browser headers
- The user-agent string and the Referer header your browser sends, and any tracking parameters in the link itself (such as utm_source).
Only the people who run this site see this log. It is used to count which pages send readers to the app.
Email and questions
If you write to us, your message and address are used to answer you and to fix what you reported, and for nothing else. The onward link to the App Store carries the button's position and any utm tags that were in the link, never the page address. Questions about this page go through the contact page; who runs the site is on about Named Peril.
